David Tlapek
David works in Los Angeles, developing film and television projects, writing and lecturing. David wrote, produced and directed the award winning documentary film, "Divining the Human: The Cathedral Tapestries of John Nava.” David has been a member of the Ecumenical Jury at the Berlin International Film Festival; he has taught at Loyola Marymount University; and he spent nine years on the Executive Committee of the City of the Angels Film Festival. "The Hidden Gift: War and Faith in Sudan" was David's first documentary, and it has been influential in the movement toward peace in Sudan's long-running civil war.
