Tom Russo
Tom Russo has been an influential figure in the entertainment industry for over 20 years. He was Senior Vice President, Current Programming, for Paramount Network Television, supervising all aspects of the studio’s primetime network and cable scripted series. In the most recent 2005-2006 season, he oversaw twenty-seven continuing shows with a cumulative production budget of over a billion dollars, including such established series as NCIS, Numbers, Medium and The 4400, and new successes such as Criminal Minds, Ghost Whisperer and Everybody Hates Chris.
Prior to running Current Programming, Tom headed longform programming for Paramount, where he pitched ideas, developed scripts and supervised production and delivery of the studio’s made-for-television movies. Before joining Paramount, Tom spent several years at Universal Television, where he developed and guided the production of fifteen telefilms. Tom Russo is a native of New York and a Magna Cum Laude Graduate of Brown University. Tom is currently President of Television for the feature film company, Intermedia.
