Jack & Patt Shea - Founding Members
Husband and wife Jack and Patt Shea are Founding Members of CIMA. Jack was a busy television director from the 1960s through the 1990s. He directed several episodes of The Waltons, The Jeffersons, and Designing Women, among other shows. He served as the president of the Directors Guild of America from 1997 to 2002. Patt was a television screenwriter and story editor. Her work on All in the Family and Archie Bunker’s Place in the 1970s earned her nominations for the Humanitas Prize given to writers. CIMA honored Jack and Patt with their 2002 Lifetime Achievement Award.
